Elisabeth and Tom Brownell built the Chalet in 1968 at its prime location in the heart of Taos Ski Valley (only a 2-minute walk to the main lift). The Brownell Chalet offers you the charm of a unique Bavarian home with great views of the slopes.

Elisabeth, owner and manager, continues to offer warm hospitality and shares her enthusiasm for skiing and the mountain. She is now pursuing her many other interests like dancing Tango and Salsa, windsurfing, studying languages and traveling.
