Elisabeth and her late husband Tom Brownell built the Chalet in 1968 at it's prime location in the heart of Taos Ski Valley (only a 2 minute walk to the main lift).

Elisabeth continues to offer her warm hospitality to guests at the Brownell Chalet, a unique Bavarian home with great views of the slopes. She shares her enthusiasm for skiing and the mountain.

Elisabeth also pursues other interests like Tango dancing, windsurfing, biking, hiking, traveling and studying languages.
